This series is a whimsical romp inspired by cliché romance in movies of the 20th century. It tells the story of a girl who has many beaux, marries into the diplomatic service... and her life is good. But one day, she meets someone, it becomes a torrid romance, pursued in the tropics with this shadowy man she cannot shake.
