Eve's "Rain" series is about diamonds; whether they are raining, drizzling or showering, these pieces feature multiple shimmering diamonds that have light and movement like droplets of rain.
" 'Ma soeur la pluie, La belle et tiede pluie d'ete...' In sixth grade we learned the lovely lazy lines of this poem by Charles van Lerberghe 'My sister the rain, the lovely lukewarm summer rain...' I have always loved rain, and watched fat drops trace a slow trajectory on my window, then suddenly, as if beckoned, scurry somewhere lower, sometimes in a different direction... I love the promise of rain, and its melancholy, the glistening pavements, the drops on the tip of leaves..." -Eve
