Eve J. Alfille Gallery & Studio Virus Response Plan for Initial Reopening

The Gallery is open by appointment only. Your safety and the safety of our Gallery family is a top priority. Masks will be required for all customers when inside the Gallery. Gallery staff will also wear masks.

Gallery Hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, from 11am to 6pm. 

We are happy to handle all sales of Eve's jewelry pieces in inventory, new commissions for Eve designs & custom work, transformations of existing customer pieces, restringing projects and jewelry repair work, including ring sizings.

If you are interested in making a purchase but are uncomfortable entering the Gallery space, we will be glad to assist you remotely via email & telephone. We are also happy to bring any fully completed purchases & customer jewelry out to you, either in your car, when you pull up in front of the Gallery, or outside in front if you are on foot. (Just call us in advance to let us know when you will be coming, and be sure to take care of any final payments, requests, and questions in advance of your arrival, to have the best experience and minimize delays.)

Things to know: 
• Our door will remain locked so we can provide our customers & staff a safe, controlled, environment.
• To better protect you and our staff, we will be cleaning and sanitizing our designated sales area frequently, as well as any equipment used, or jewelry that customers have handled.
• Customers are asked to call ahead to schedule an appointment

• Customers & staff must wear face masks inside.

The Gallery

The elegant Eve J. Alfillé Gallery was awarded America's coolest store: Top Ten, by In-Store Magazine. The gallery is a destination for customers and visitors from across the U.S. and abroad. Come see this nationally recognized Chicago area treasure. The beautiful jewelry inside is made on location in the studio.

Gallery Hours
Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Eve wanted the space to evoke a feeling of past civilizations and to remind her visitors of the natural origins of the gems and minerals she uses in the jewelry. To accomplish this, Celeste Sotola, a multimedia artist and space designer, created four special areas: Pearl Room, Gem Room, Diamond Room and Wedding Band Alcove, where customers can peruse Alfillé's extensive collections of gems, minerals and pearls.

Sea Horse deities guard the imposing portal known as the Pearl Room, which dominates the front corner of the gallery and is home to a magnificent array of pearls as well as copious books on the subject.

Like walking into Ali Baba's cave, the Gem Room sparkles with an amazing variety of gemstones, from sapphires, tourmalines and spinels to alexandrite, hematite and meteorite!

A dark, intimate space, the Diamond Room is a place to focus on all the variables involved in choosing a diamond.

Finally, couples can sit together under a glorious canopy in the Wedding Band Alcove while exploring cabinets brimming with ring models.

The Gallery is situated on a quiet street in downtown Evanston, the first suburb north of Chicago along the shore of Lake Michigan, and home to Northwestern University. Theaters, shops and fine dining make Evanston a can't-miss destination.
